SOUTHPORT — Eva Holmes, age 73, of Southport, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025.
A celebration of Mrs. Holmes’ life was conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home – Bolivia, 1705 Southport Supply Road, Bolivia, NC 28422.
Interment followed at Northwood Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her husband, William Holmes of the home; children, William Holmes, Jr. and Joyce Whitehead both of Southport; siblings, Barbara Hawkins and Thelma Whitehead both of Southport, Thomasina Owens and Maggie Purefoy (Bene) both of Durham, Adelia Muhammad of Seattle, WA and Thomas Jefferson Whitehead, Jr. (Clara) of Tarheel, three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
