OAK ISLAND — Joyce Ann George, 76, of Oak Island passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025.
Born on March 24, 1949 in Lagrange, GA, she was a daughter of Charles and Lavida Childs.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Worley and his wife, Jamie; her sister, Martha Purser; and her grandchildren, Brandon and his wife, Diane, Lindsey, Kathryn, Lacey, and Logan Worley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eloise Maddox and Louise Jeter.
Services will be announced at a future time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Joyce’s name, to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
