WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victoria Suzette Benhoff, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, who passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the age of 52.
She was born on July 29, 1972, in Wilmington, North Carolina, Victoria had an enormous heart and touched the lives of many. She was known for her fun and outgoing personality, a voice filled with grace, and a heart of gold. Victoria never met a stranger and was always on the go. She had a passion for animals, but her absolute favorite was dogs.
Victoria was a devoted member of First Christian Church and put God above everything in her life. Her faith and love were constants that she shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Vivian Vaughan of Hampstead, North Carolina; her daughters, Nicole Holliday of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Calisa Benhoff of Wilmington, North Carolina; her sister, Amelia Banks of Castle Hayne, North Carolina; and her brother, Justin Banks of Hampstead, North Carolina. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Mia Alfisi, Scarlett Moody, Colton Moody, Piper Moody, and Joseph Alfisi Jr. She also leaves behind her nephew, Aaron Banks of Swansboro, North Carolina, and niece, Ashlee Banks of Greensboro, North Carolina. Her uncle and aunt, Allen and Lucy Vaughan, along with cousins Sarah Poston and Emily Daugherty and family, reside in Johnson City, Tennessee.
A celebration of Victoria’s life will be held at a later date.
