WILMINGTON — Lori Lynn Cody (65) peacefully passed away in her sleep at her residence of Wilmington NC.
Born in Paterson NJ on July 3 1959. The daughter of Ronald Van Valkenburg and Dolores Yacullo (Carrigan) and stepdaughter to Nicholas J. Yacullo. Mrs. Cody was a cosmetologist, aka hairdresser for many years.
She was married 3 times once to James McVeigh Sr. And preceded in death by 2 husbands Kevin Norris and Jim Cody. She also leaves her brother in law Donald, special friend and caregiver Chris.
Surviving are her beloved children James McVeigh, Jr and wife Maggie and the mother of her grandchildren Jenifer Mintz. Kyle McVeigh and wife Cindy of Wilmington NC and her beloved brothers and sister- Ronald and Roseanne Van Valkenburg of whiting NJ, Nicholas Yacullo of Woodland Park NJ, Kim and Daniel Mills of Leland NC and Eric Yacullo and Shelley of Fitchburg Ma also her beloved nieces and nephews Ronald, Kevin, Alyssa, Nicholas, Micheal, Cole, Landon, Patrick, Layla, and Julianna she also leaves her grand children Logan, Linsleigh, James III, Emily, and Carolina she also her 3 great grandchildren Emery, Melanie, and Arlo.
She was predeceased by her sister Lisa Sisti (Yacullo) and her nephew Christopher Van Valkenburg.
