WILMINGTON — Lou T. Gosney, born on March 24, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina. She previously resided in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Lou brought warmth and joy to those around her, leaving a lasting impression with her kindness and infectious laughter. Her presence was a source of light, and the memories created will be cherished by all who knew her.
Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Gosney, as well as sons, Michael Gosney and Jeffrey Gosney. She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Bruton (Lance); granddaughters Kathryn Hoffman (Harold) and Rachel Gosney; and great-grandchildren
Harrison, Ophelia, and Clara.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Lou’s honor on April 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Grande at Lake Jeanette Clubhouse, located at 4905 Town Ridge Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina 27455.
Lou’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
