SOUTHPORT — Pauline Timms, 94, of Southport, formerly of Fountain Inn, SC, passed away March 8, 2025.
She was born December 4, 1930 in Bladen County, NC to Noah and Ethel Pridgen. She loved her family and being a great-great grandmother, in addition to working with her daughter (Rosa Nash) in her bridal shop, The Southern Bride in Greenville, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Fred Timms, and her daughter, Rosa Nash, grandsons, William James Bramble and Billy Whaley, a granddaughter, Angela Spearman, and her siblings, Noah Washington Pridgen, A.J. Pridgen, and Doris Ivey.
She is survived by her children, Gail Bramble (Gary) of Oak Island, Larry Bearden, of Hodges, SC, and Bill Whaley (Marsha) of Currie; her brother, Berkley Pridgen (Eleanor); loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Burial will be at the family cemetery in Kelly, NC at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 14, 2025.
