WILMINGTON — Ethel Renee Rodgers, born on January 10, 1964, in Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away on February 24, 2025, in Hampstead, North Carolina, at the age of 61.
Ethel was a devoted community member and found great fulfillment in her work with her Husband running Hampstead Maintenance and Repair where she dedicated her time and energy to serving and uplifting those around her. Her passion for nature and the great outdoors was evident through her love of hunting and fishing in the beautiful Carolina landscapes. She had a particular fondness for turkey hunting and found joy and tranquility in caring for her chickens and tending to her garden.
As an active member and former president of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation (NWTF), Renee was committed to the preservation and appreciation of wildlife. Her faith was an integral part of her life.
Renee is survived by her loving husband, Neil Rodgers, and three beloved children Bobby Jo Rosinbaum III, Robbie Ballard, Kiersten Racks and mother Maureen Hunter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and a profound appreciation for the natural world.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
