BRUNSWICK COUNTY — James Evans Moore, Jr, 58 formerly of Tampa, Florida, died Monday February 17, 2025 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
Beloved husband and father he is survived by his wife, Inca Ramirez, son Jordan Ramirez and fur baby Milo Moore. James is also survived by brother in law, Roberto Ramirez (Shauna), sister in law Anita Green (Bill), nephews Chris Lao (Stacy), Tyler Green (Samantha) and Alex Ramirez. Nieces, Jessica Santa (Joshua), Amber Ruiz (Jon), Kayleah Howard (George), Breanna Fleckenstein (Kheagun) and Jacqui Wolff (Russell). Cousins Stacey Greenberg (Joshua) and Donnie Sylvester (Mary). He is also survived by 10 grand nephews and nieces. James was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Beverly Sylvester, his father, James E. Moore, Sr and his sister, Elizabeth Moore.
James was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, He worked for Martin’s Uniforms for 20 years before joining The Home Depot then 7-11 before retirement in 2021. He was a life long fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Hurricanes Football teams. He enjoyed the Tampa Bay Rays and the Lightning as well. James was also a self admitted Sci-fi nerd and Horologist. He was a kind, gentle soul with a rough exterior who would do anything he could to help.
In the spirit of giving he was an organ and tissue donor. I am told that he help 70 people to have a better life. He is very loved and will be eternally missed.
He desired cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
