OAK ISLAND — Glenn Everette Herring Jr., age 52 of Oak Island, North Carolina, passed away on February 16, 2025.
Glenn was born August 13, 1972, son of Glenn and Virginia Herring. Glenn had worked at Stewart / Ace Hardware for 21 years as a small engine mechanic. He loved fishing and his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Judy Herring; his grandmother, Daisy Tyndall of Clinton, NC; a sister-in-law, Valarie Stanley; and a nephew, Brian Oswalt. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Sue Oswalt.
A celebration of his life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel.
