WILMINGTON — Geraldine Genis Tyson, age 61, of Wilmington, passed on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
A celebration of Mrs. Tyson’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Warner Temple AME Zion Church, 620 Nixon Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her husband, John L. Tyson of the home; children, Dametric Tyson of Wilmington and Damere Tyson of Savannah, GA; siblings, James Codgell, Cedric Codgell, Eva Roland (Pastor Ronald) all of Wilmington, Cheryl Codgell of Raleigh and Denise Sterling of Charlotte and a host of other relatives and friends.
