WILMINGTON — Challenged with Alzheimer’s for four years, Glenn E. Breitwieser, Jr. 83, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice, Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Breitwieser; and daughter, Gretchen Moore (Scott) of Wake Forest, NC.
Born on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941, and as a proud American, Glenn served in the Navy from 1960-1964.
Early in his career, Glenn monitored radar installations in many states and countries. Then he spent numerous years in auto parts manufacturing. In 2004, he decided to move to North Carolina to get away from the cold Michigan winters.
