WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Charles Macpherson, who left us on August 14, 2024, in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Born on December 16, 1969, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Bill lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many in his 54 years.
Bill was a man of many passions and interests. He Bill was an avid Clemson fan, sports lover, and cherished his time spent at the beach and on his boat. His greatest joy, however, was spending quality time with his family and friends, who will forever hold dear the countless memories they created together. Bill was also a member of Lifepoint of Pine Valley Church.
Preceding Bill in death were his mother, Bitsy K. Carter and his father, Bill Macpherson and his maternal grandparents, Brownie and Pat Kugler.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Macpherson; his two children, Rylie Erica and Tanner Charles Macpherson, and his two step-children, Conor Aiden and Kira Ella Kerr, all of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Ellen Macpherson Squyars and her husband, Anthony, of Chesterfield, VA; a nephew, Grant A. Squyars (Jenna); two nieces, Savannah S. Lockhart (Cecil), and Megan S. Montgomery (Brandon); an aunt, Patsy, and cousins, Amy Burger and Doc Smith, in South Carolina; and close Myrtle Beach High School friends.
