WILMINGTON — George “Tommy” Harker 80, of Wilmington died Saturday July 27, 2024 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter.
Tommy was born in Wilmington, NC on November 11, 1943 the son of the late Dallas Nathan Harker and Annie Gertrude King Harker, his wife of 55 years Betty Lou Harker, sisters Bonnie H. Hughes and Betty H. Watts and a granddaughter Alyssa Robson.
Surviving are his sons Tony Harker and wife Tonya, Michael Harker and wife Judy, and Aaron Harker daughter Regina Robson. also surviving are his brothers Albert Harker and wife Pat, Bobby Harker and wife Sylvia sisters Judy Benton and husband Arland, Susie Shepard and husband Robert. Seven grandchildren Tiffany, Tyler, Ryan, Kailey, Ivey, Ashley and Justin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a memorial visitation Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
