WILMINGTON — Mickey Baysden: devoted husband, wonderful dad, amazing granddad, loyal friend, Heritage Bible College grad, talented musician, history buff, avid reader, lover of coffee and Coca-Cola (equally!)… pastor, missionary, and pioneer.
He was born on July 14, 1954 in Carteret County to Hubert and Annie Mae and preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Brenda Hallmark.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Vicky Baysden, two children, Jason Baysden (Leland, NC) and Christa Godard (Raleigh, NC). He is also survived by his son-in-law Gerard Godard (Raleigh, NC) and daughter-in-law, Stacy Baysden (Leland, NC), as well as three grandchildren, Jaden Baysden, Emerson Baysden, and Evan Baysden (Leland, NC). He is also survived by his brother Dennis Baysden and sister, Cora Baysden.
A service celebrating Mickey’s life will be held at 3pm, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Lifepoint Church Pine Valley located at 3600 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
