LELAND — Nacy M. Hewitt, age 89, of Leland, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Public Viewing 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Mrs. Hewitt’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 1882 Lincoln Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451.
Interment will follow at Hewitt Family Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Audrey Richardson Spool (James) of Leland, Charles Hewitt, Jr. (Cheryl) of Calabash and Alvin Hewitt of Charlotte; siblings, James Major (Kathleen) of Ocean Isle and Bertha Major of Florida, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
