SOUTHPORT — Doris Marie Davis, age 72, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Doris was loved and cherished by many people. She loved her family, church, and reading her bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Israel Davis and Marie Davis; a brother, Charles Davis.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Nina Faye Davis of the home; two brothers, Eddie Davis and wife Katrena, and Israel Davis and wife Brigette. Her children, Chris Davis and wife Sonya, Kendrick Caine, Ashland Caine and wife JoLisa, Sata Caine, Michael Caine, and Erik Caine. Doris had nine granddaughters; four grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
The family of Doris Marie Davis would like to acknowledge with much appreciation and kindness to Dosher Memorial Hospital and New Hanover Regional Medical Center for providing our mother, sister, grandmother, with the best care. Thank you.
