WILMINGTON — Louise S. Rogers, 95, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024.
She was born August 24, 1928, in Wilmington, NC, to the late John C. Sanders and Mamie Estelle Stokley.
Louise was married to Charles W. Cannon from 1950-1985 with 35 loving years. Many years later, she married Ervin Rogers, who also preceded her in death, in 2002.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Linda Rogers; sisters-in-law, Margaret Anderson, Carolyn Fowler (Jimmy Fowler) and Ruth Cannon; nephews, William Sanders, Bobby Glen Cannon, Wayne Cannon and Jim Patelos; nieces, Joann Blanton (Mack Blanton) and Sue Willis (Don Garrett).
She was a devoted, loving member of United Advent Christian Church. She had a very loving and caring heart and cared for her family deeply.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2024, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center.
