WILMINGTON — Deborah Susan Paul, age 72, passed away peacefully, at her home in Wilmington, NC on the 30th of May 2024.
Deborah was born on February 18, 1952 to the late Charles and Dorothy McGowan Paul in Wilmington, NC; the place she called home all her life.
In addition to her aforementioned parents, Deborah is preceded in death by her niece Rebekah Gentry. Deborah is survived by her sisters Nannette Paul, Lucretia Newkirk, and Shelley Slusser (John); her nieces Krishna Williams (Paul) and their children Walker and Emily; and Leah Blount (Aaron) and children Vann and August Bullard, as well as many other extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
In Deborah’s younger years she had many hobbies ranging from bowling to clogging. Later in life she spent many hours studying scripture and loved Lord Jesus, her rock and savior.
Habakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hind’s feet, and he will make me walk upon mine high places.
