WILMINGTON — Margaret Sue Adams, known to loved ones as Cindy, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2024, in Wilmington, NC. She was born on December 14, 1956, in Harrisburg, PA, and was 67 years old at the time of her passing.
Cindy was an incredible artist, an avid book reader, and had a deep love for her beloved cat, Grimm. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for many stray felines, showing kindness and compassion to those in need.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Joseph Adams and Shirley Capps Adams, her sister, Georgene Champion, her brother, Oscar “Curtis” Adams, and her nieces, Ashley and Christine Champion.
Cindy is survived by her life partner of 45 years, Mike Aldridge, her daughter, Maria Wydra, her sister, Patricia Walk, and her niece, Tammy Thomas. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Cindy’s warm heart, creative spirit, and love for animals will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty she brought into the world.
