WILMINGTON — Bob Russell Coston, Jr., age 66, passed from his earthly life Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home.
He was born February 7, 1958 in Wilmington, the son of Bob Russell Coston and Betty Ann Dyson Coston. In addition to his parents Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Ward.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Danielle Coston and Chelsey Coston; grandsons, Stephen Lockamy III and Lincoln Vaughn Hinson; sister, Deborah Batson; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
For many years Bob was employed with Ansco and Associates where he made many lifelong friends.
Bob loved the beach and saltwater fishing. And he enjoyed eating the catch! He had an unmatched sense of humor, a love of laughter, and always made one feel happy. As a youth he dabbled in Go-Cart building. His sister remembers Bob taking the wheels from her bicycle to put on his Go-Cart. As he grew older he was proficient in racing Go-Carts and loved watching NASCAR. Bob was a fun sort of Guy who loved his family. He was a great DAD. Bob will surely be missed.
