WILMINGTON — Ryan Connor Smith passed away unexpectedly on July 2nd, 2023. Ryan was born in Wilmington, NC April 20th, 1993, to Richard Connor Smith and Donna Leake Smith.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his brother Richard W. (Rick) Smith, Rick’s wife Anna Skinner, and his niece and nephew Olivia and Grayson. Ryan was preceded in death by his brother Robert J. (Rob) Smith, and both his paternal and maternal grandparents. Ryan has many family members and friends that will never forget him.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone that has reached out during this difficult time.
A celebration of Ryan’s life will be announced later. If anyone wishes to honor Ryan further the family would like you to consider a donation to an animal shelter of your choice, as Ryan loved all animals. Or any non-profit organization helping people with addiction/recovery.
