WILMINGTON — Shawn Israel Tomlison, age 42 of Wilmington, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center.
Shawn was born in Maron, Indiana on March 5, 1980 to William Lee “Bill” Tomlinson and Sandra Kay Summers Tomlinson.
Shawn was a dedicated member of the Team at Sams Club Warehouse in Wilmington for many years and served as a Team Leader. During his time away from work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and church family playing games and having fun times, making everyone laugh, but most especially being a dedicated husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Angela Suggs Tomlinson; his daughter, Daisy Eva Tomlison; his mother Sandra Kay Summers Tomlinson; two brothers, Aaron Tomlinson (Dusty), Mark Tomlinson (Crystal); along with uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Hampstead Baptist Church 67 Factory Road, Hampstead, NC led by Rev. Rod West. Family will greet friends starting an hour before the services.
