WILMINGTON — Johnny Franklin Johnson, 71, of Wilmington passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
He was born in Duplin County, NC on December 18, 1951; son of the late William H. Johnson and Louise Raynor Johnson. Johnny was veteran of the US Army and loved wood carving and working with hands, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death other than his parents is by his wife; Becky Bradley Johnson, brother, Robert Johnson and a sister, Bonnie Marrero. Survivors include his two brothers, Walter Steven Johnson (Debra) and Mike Johnson (Nichole).
A celebration of life will be announced later this week.
