WILMINGTON — Deborah Green Elleston, age 69 of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare on October 15, 2022.
Deborah was born on January 17, 1953 to the late William and Helen Bernice Green in Manhattan, New York.
Deborah is survived by her husband David A. Elleston, her grandson, who she raised as her own, Christian Elleston Munoz, her special daughters Amneris DeLeon and Christina Sellars, her grandson Christopher Lett, brother Harold Green (Susan) and their children Sojourner McKnight (Derek) along with their children Derek Jr. and Gabrielle, and Marcus Green, her sister Beverly Green, along with her children Elena Alexis Karman (Robert) and their daughter Ella Karman, and Adena Hernandez (Casey Schlosser), her sister in law Janet Green, as well as many other extended family members and friends whose lives are forever enriched by the presence of Deborah. In addition to her parents, Deborah is predeceased by her daughter Davida Andrea Elleston and her infant daughter Jocelyn Azalea Mitchell, and her brothers Bernard Green and Michael Green.
There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00pm at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Wilmington Chapel. All are welcome to attend.
“It is well within my soul” was one of Deborah’s favorite sayings, followed by “Faith does not make things easy, it makes them possible”.
