WILMINGTON — Ronald “Ronnie” Wells Rivenbark, 71, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at his residence.
He was born September 19, 1950, in Wilmington, NC, to the late George Samuel Rivenbark and Letha Wells Rivenbark.
Ronnie retired after working for 32 years at DuPont. More recently, he worked at Driller Services, Inc. (DSI) He was a family man and loved his wife and children. He was the founding President of Leland’s Tee-Ball League in 1983.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Rivenbark.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Rivenbark; five children, Rosa Jordan and husband Ronnie, Chris Rivenbark and fiancé Stacy Gross, Jason Rivenbark and wife Jessica, Ruth Ann Gutwald and Lonnie Helms and wife Jennifer; twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4pm, Sunday, April 10, at Andrews Valley Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, April 11, at Andrews Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
