
WILMINGTON — Timothy Wayne Ennis, 51, of Wilmington passed from his earthly life Monday, April 4, 2022, at his home.
He was born August 10, 1970 in Wilmington. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Paul Ennis and sister, Marsha Carol Ennis.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Marshall Wayne Ennis and Mae Arlene Higgins Ennis; sister, Janine Ennis Polera and her husband, James; brother, Kevin Ennis; and many extended family members and friends.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and he served his country honorably in the US Navy.
Timothy was a great son and brother who loved his family. As a youngster Timothy was fantastic at driving a big wheel and as he grew older this love of driving turned into a fascination with cars of which he has owned many. Prior to his illness, Timothy was outgoing, always stayed physically fit and enjoyed hunting – was a noted sharpshooter. His illness changed his life and he delt with the change as best as anyone could. Timothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Latter Day Saints Cemetery, NC Hwy 210, Hampstead, NC 28443. Bishop Kevin Hoffman will conduct the service.
Following the graveside service, the family will visit with family and friends at the cemetery.
