WILMINGTON — Sherman Lewis, Sr., age 79, of Wilmington, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2022.
A celebration of Mr. Lewis’ life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on March 9, 2022 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC 29229.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Merle Lewis of the home; children, Youlanda Lewis-Mack of Charlotte, Sherman Lewis, Jr. of Columbia, SC and Donnell F. Lewis of Charlotte; sister, Barbara Lester of Wilmington, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
