WILMINGTON — Sue Plint Wall, age 88, of Wilmington, NC died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 18, 1933 in Winston-Salem, NC, the daughter of the late Bertram H. Plint and Mildred V. Plint. She was preceded in death by her husband, Voit G. Wall, a sister Sara Plint Fussell and her husband, Theodore Fussell, and a sister, Joan P. Ross and her husband, Richard Ross and nephew Jim Fussell.
She was an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and retired in 1998 from Woodbury Insurance Company.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen G. Wall and wife Wanda of Currie, NC, and Mark J. Wall and wife Pam of Hampstead, NC; two grandchildren, Hunter G. Wall and wife Leanne and Melissa W. Lewis and husband Adam; two step-grandchildren, Erin Brittany Anderson and Jason Clayton Dale; one step grandson, Christopher Rylan Anderson; nephews and nieces, Bob Fussell and wife Donna, Mike Fussell and wife Patti, Marty Coram and husband Bill, Margaret Monday and husband Glenn, Shannon Fussell (Jim Fussell’s wife), and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel with Rev. Matthew Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
