LELAND — Brenda Watson Jones, 74 of Leland, NC passed away January 29, 2022, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Born January 30, 1947 in Leland, NC to the late Maco Preston Watson and Adele Potter Watson. She is preceded in death by her husband Alan H. Jones, Sr. and 5 siblings.
Brenda was a retired NC Real Estate Broker and Certified Public Accountant. She also served our country in the United States Army. She was a resident of Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe in Leland. The family would like to thank Devon Parish, Tabitha Lanier, Shannon Jordan, Libby Blasingame and all the staff at Arbor Landing for taking such excellent care of Brenda.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Tracey Bennett Smith (Clifton), her grandson Timothy Jay Edwards (Mary) and two great grandchildren (Grace & Aiden Rice).
The family will receive visitors from 3-5pm, Wednesday, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date.
