Timothy Boyland, 55

WILMINGTON — Timothy Boyland passed away unexpectedly at 4:30 am on Monday November 8th, 2021. He went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at the young age of 55 years. Timothy was born in 1966.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph F. Boyland; niece, Dana Wilson; and nephew, David Travaglia.

Timothy is survived by his children, TJ and Shauni Boyland; Christian and Jalisha Boyland of Aurora & Colorado Springs, Colorado; Amy Boyland of Tallahassee, Florida; and their mother, Colleen Wallace of Clover, SC.

He is also survived by his mother, Janeane Boyland from Whippany, NJ; siblings, Larry and Theresa Travaglia, Joseph F. and Darlene Boyland, Steven and Donna Boyland of Randolph & Chester, New Jersey; Alan and Mary Boyce of California; John and Regina O’Hagan of Chester, NJ; nieces and nephews, LJ and Thomas Travaglia, Steven and Jesse Boyland, Joseph F. and Michelle Boyland, Kaley, Ryan and Zachary Boyce, and Jack and Riley O’Hara.

His extended family includes Peter and Christine Esposito of Carolina Beach, NC; Teddi Nixon, Gregory and Billy Wilson of Wrightsville NC.

Timothy grew up in Whippany, NJ. He enlisted and served in the United States Navy for 4 years while stationed in San Diego, California. He was honorably discharged in 1990. He has lived in Monroe, NC since 2002. He was loved deeply and would give his time and energy, and open his home to anyone who was in need. His kids adored him and he made people laugh and feel comfortable. He loved to fish and became a master woodworker. He was taken before his time and our family is heartbroken.

He will be laid to rest in Wilmington, NC. Andrew’s Mortuary & Crematory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Viewing will be on Friday, November 12 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 13 @ 11:00am at Oleander Memorial Garden.

A reception will be held at Steam Restaurant at the Embassy Suite following the graveside from 1-4 pm, located at 9 Estell Lee Pl, Wilmington, NC 28401.
