WILMINGTON — Rhonda Lee Pruss, age 65 quietly passed away Tuesday, October 12,2021 at New Hanover Regional Center.
She was born in Salem Massachusetts on November 5,1955 to the late Harris Pruss and Helen Yashgar.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Pruss.
Rhonda was a graduate of Bridgewater Massachusetts. She later became a paralegal in Washington, DC. She married her husband, Donald Messer in 1993 in Falls Church, VA
She and her husband moved from Church, Fall Virginia to Leland, North Carolina in June 2014
Rhonda was very active volunteer in the Assistance League of Greater Wilmington, AARP, various Temple of Israel organizations, and the Red Cross. She will be missed by the many people she touched in her life.
She is survived by her husband Donald Messer, two Aunts, cousins, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 S 41st Street Wilmington, NC 28403
at 1:00pm on October 24,2021. Mask will be required in the chapel during the service
