
BOLIVIA — Woodrow Craig Poindexter Jr., 50, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at home after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born April 30, 1971, in Wilmington.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Woodrow “Woody” Poindexter Sr.; and Nanny and PaPa, Edna and J.C. Griffin.
He is survived by two daughters, Dannielle and Destiny of Bolivia; son, Fisher of the home; grandson, Tres; mom, Jennie Griffin and John; and brother, Jason Poindexter and Christal Wunder and kids. Many thanks to Carol Hunt, his loving companion that was by his side.
Craig was the owner of Craig’s Pressure Washing. His joy in life was fishing. He will be missed deeply by his family and many friends. His favorite line was “It’s all good, I got this.”
A celebration of life service for Craig will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, July 5, at Peacock-Newnam & White Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until the hour of service.
