Johnny Wayne Cook, 69, retired from L.L. Vann Electrical Company

SUPPLY — Johnny Wayne Cook, 69, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Bolivia.

Johnny was born Sept. 4, 1951, in Harnett County to the late Johnny Clarence and Alene Ruth McGee Cook. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Baker.

He was a retired electrician and had worked with the L.L. Vann Electrical Company for 26 years. After retirement, his deep-rooted work ethic kept him busy performing electrical work for local friends and associates. Johnny loved music and always had his favorite country, beach or rock & roll playing. He will certainly be deeply missed.

Surviving are his loving wife, Linda H. Cook; special uncle, J.F. McGee, and his wife, Betty, of Garner; nephew, Chris Baker; great-niece, Savannah Baker; and great-nephew, Brendon Baker.

To honor his wishes, services will be private.
