WILMINGTON — Norma Lee Bricker, 96, was born April 29, 1925, in McLeansboro, Illinois, the daughter of Joel and Gertrude Prince. She attended high school in McLeansboro, where she met and married Glenn Mills. She was employed by RCA in New Jersey and California. In 1970, Norma married Gordon Bricker, who preceded her in death in 2019. Eventually, they decided to retire to Wilmington in 1993. They were active members in the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. In January 2019, they became part of the Davis community. Norma was taken by the Lord Sunday, May 9, 2021.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother and wonderful friend who will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Carl Mills, of Banning, California; and two stepsons, Greg Bricker of Peachtree City, Georgia, and Jeff Bricker, of Louisville, Kentucky; granddaughter, Meredith Bricker; and great-granddaughter, Addison Bricker of Atlanta, Georgia.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 20, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park, Hampstead.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
