HOLDEN BEACH — Wanda Parker Bradsher, 69, went home Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, to be with the Lord and join her late husband of 41 years, Tommy.
She was born March 13, 1951, to the late John Fredrick “Fred” and Betty Ruth Parker. Wanda was the first of three and big sister to Ricky and Robin (deceased). She was a graduate of Shallotte High School and later Miller-Motte College. Wanda was a cofounder of Seacoast Development, owner of Shallotte Glass and Mirror and later built and established Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort alongside her husband.
She was a proud mother of five children, Erika Campbell (Rusty), Deana Milliken (Jeff), William T. “Will” Bradsher II, Meghan Casteen (Chad) and Kortney Nowell (Gary). She was known as “Grams” and adored by her 12 grandchildren and three great-grands.
Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, swimming, playing slots and cuddling with her fur baby, Dudley.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Shallotte, with the Rev. Eddie Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Brooks Cemetery.
It is with honor that her grandsons, Parker Campbell, Trae Garst, Thomas Bradsher, Keaton Gable, Trevor Gable and Finn Casteen, will serve as pallbearers to carry “the queen” to her final resting place; along with honorary pallbearers, Wriston and Laeland Bradsher.
