HAMPSTEAD — Keith Joseph Liberati, 54, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at home after a long battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was born March 23, 1966, in Yonkers, New York, to Vincent Liberati and the late Diane Brower Liberati.
Keith enjoyed fishing and music. He collected sports memorabilia and was a big fan of the Yankees and the Patriots. Keith was close with his dad and loved him very much. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Keith was a bright light to many people and will be missed dearly.
Keith is survived by his wife, Linda Maria Liberati; children, Keith Anthony Liberati-Badinelli, and his wife, Megain, Ryan Liberati, Connor Liberati, Anthony Liberati, Maria Victoria Liberati, Isabel Liberati and Austin Liberati; father, Vincent Liberati; stepmother, Carol Liberati; sisters, Lynn Ann Santiomma, and her husband, James, and Jennifer Cruz, and her husband, Raul; and grandchildren, Cale Badinelli, Owen Badinelli, John Vincent Liberati, Anthony Old and one on the way.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home, Wilmington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 4, at Immaculate Conception Church, Wilmington, with the Rev. John McGee, OSFS, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions in memory of Keith be made to the ALS Association.
