LELAND — Bertie Lou Clark, 92, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Brunswick County and was the daughter of the late Archie and Cora Hollis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Leland.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 61 years, Durwood Clark, Sr., and son, Gregory Clark and a grandson, Jonathan Clark.
She is survived by two sons, Durwood Clark Jr., and his wife, Cherry, and Robin Clark, and his partner, Sadie Taylor, all of Leland; sister, Hallie Wilkins; four grandsons, Tommy, Jeff, Jason and Dennis; and seven great-grandchildren, Woody, Ruby, Ryan, Riley, Parker, Drew and Griffin.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
