SUNSET BEACH — Laurence Eugene Kearns, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.
Born Aug. 29, 1938, in Monaghan, Ireland, he was a son of the late Patrick Kearns and Margaret McNally Kearns.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired computer engineer. He was an avid golfer and had been active in golf tournaments conducted by the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Priscilla Molloy Kearns; daughter, Siobhan Horne (Dennis) of Calabash; brothers, Frank and Patty Kearns, both of Ireland; sisters, Margaret Evans of London, England, and Angela Noland and Kathleen Poland, both of Ireland; and grandson, Liam.
Services will be announced at a later date.
