Alison Lennon Baxley, 50, known for her quick wit that knew no bounds

WILMINGTON — Alison Lennon Baxley, 50, was called by her heavenly Father to return home Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. She died peacefully in her sleep.

Alison was born July 14, 1970, in Wilmington and was the daughter of Alton and Lynda Lennon and Sherry and Rod Andrew.

She attended public school and graduated Cape Fear Academy before attending St. Mary’s College in Raleigh. She was presented at the Terpsichorean Debutante Ball in Raleigh.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She was the mother of two wonderful children, John Rosser Baxley and Anna Greylen Baxley. She had two sisters, Natalie Lennon Harrell (Jerry) and Rebecca Lennon-Thompson (Adam). She was engaged to John Raymond Anderson.

Alison will be remembered by her family and friends as having a beautiful, loving spirit about her, as well as a quick wit that knew no bounds.

Services are being planned for a memorial at St. John’s Episcopal Church Memorial Garden.
