Frank Andrew Roehrig, 77, volunteered with Southport Maritime Museum

ST. JAMES — Frank Andrew Roehrig, 77, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020. Mr. Roehrig was born March 4, 1943, in Queens, New York, to the late Frank and Helen Roehrig.

Frank worked for the Volvo Truck Corporation for 30 years and became director of sales. He volunteered with the Southport Maritime Museum and St. James Fire Department. Frank was an amazing woodworker. He built furniture and toys for children.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Roehrig and Carol Celento.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Eileen Roehrig; five sons, John Sullivan, and his wife, Lisha, Frank Roehrig, and his wife, Kelly, Eric Roehrig, and his wife, Maggie, Andrew Roehrig and Joseph Roehrig; nine grandchildren, Madison Roehrig, Bayley Roehrig, Jack Roehrig, Jordan Roehrig, Brendan Roehrig, Graham Roehrig, Mary Roehrig, Joseph Sullivan and Natalie Sullivan; brother, James Roehrig; and sister, Patricia Marco.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
