BOLIVIA — Deborah Carol Ballard, 70, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2020.
Mrs. Ballard was born July 27, 1950, in Brunswick County to the late James and Florence Brown.

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and started the Helping Hands ministry, which provides meals to the shut-ins. Mrs. Ballard loved cooking, gardening, fishing, her family and her grandchildren. She will be remembered as the sweetest person you would ever meet.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Daryl Brown and Frankie Brown; and sister, Sharon Triggs.

Survivors include her husband, Landie Ballard; three children, Jamie Brown, and wife, Rhonda, Stephanie Cox, and husband, Bradley, and Landie Ballard Jr., and wife, Amanda Marie Hall; six grandchildren, Brianna Ballard, Ashley Brown, and fiancé Luke Smith, Jamie Brown Jr., Alyssa Marie Hall, John Matthew Ballard and Olivia Shea Brown; great-grandson, Bryce Aaron Dwayne Smith; two sisters, Betty Rayl and Beverly Maggard; and brother, James Bernance Brown Jr.

The family will have visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, at White Funeral & Cremation Service, Supply Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Raleigh officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
