SUPPLY — Charles Winson McDonald, 69, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2020. Born Jan. 3, 1951, in Brunswick County, he was a son of the late Winson McDonald and Wilma Carlisle McDonald.
He retired from the Brunswick County Maintenance Division as a mechanic and wrecker operator. Charles was a simple man who loved his family. His hobbies included drag racing and playing country music.
Surviving are his son, Chezley McDonald (Anna) of Supply; sisters, Linda Grice of Supply and Wanda Thomas of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Emma Grace McDonald, who always made him happy; one niece and several nephews; as well as other family.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at Ocean View Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, Supply. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed.
