WILMINGTON — Patricia Kay “Pat” Rivers, 69, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. She was born March 7, 1951, in Lowville, New York, to the late Charles Archer and Doris Butler.
Pat loved her family, nature, fishing, the New York Yankees and Hay Day.
She was preceded in death by her son, John; daughter, Morrie; and brother, Loren.
Pat leaves behind 10 children, Chris (Amy) of Charleston, South Carolina, Shawn (Adriana) of New York City, Shannon (Andy) of Burgaw, Julie (Joseph) of Maple Hill, Terry (Steve) of Butts County, Georgia, Chucky (Jason) of Wilmington, Betty of Burgaw, Kathy (Koen) of Rocky Point, Billy of Wilmington and Tommy of Wilmington; three siblings, Cheryl, Jerry and Reg; 17 grandchildren, Maria’, Kari, Grayson, David, Abigail, Joseph, Nathalie, Joshua, Derrick, Meredith, Hannah, Nathan, Matthew, Anna, Vanessa, Olivia and Emma; and three great-grandchildren, Nyemiah, Kyrie and Arabella.
Thanks to the assistance of hospice, she passed peacefully at her daughter’s home and will be dearly missed.
