SUNSET BEACH — Irene Joan Paul, 89, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2020.
Born Aug. 31, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Endler and Ruby Fralick Endler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Arthur Paul, M.D.; and daughter, Pamela “Pam” Nikolov.
She was a longtime member of the Philanthropic Endowment Organization (PEO) and was active in the Presbyterian churches in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Fayetteville.
Surviving are her grandson, Korey Nikolov, and his fiancée, Olivia Babson of Ocean Isle Beach; and son-in-law, Bob Nikolov of Ocean Isle Beach.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 23, at the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, officiated by the Rev. Jason L. Benton. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
