WILSON — Jon Mark Blizzard, 50, a former resident of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. He was born Aug. 27, 1970, and attended Laney High School.
Jon was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Blizzard.
He is survived by his mother, Vicky Pate Blizzard; sister, Beth Blizzard Brock, and her husband, Chris, and nephew, Tanner Brown; sister, Amy Blizzard Kavanaugh, and her husband, Spencer; stepmother, Barbara Wenderlich; and his best friend, John Blocker.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive immediately following the service until 1 p.m.
