WILMINGTON — Mary Joan Hollar, 92, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Bolivia.
She was born June 22, 1928, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Sam Caranate and Lucy Spito Caranate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hollar; and son, Stephen Scott.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia V. Scott and Carmen Cook; stepson, Brian Hollar, and his wife, Joyce; and grandchildren, Brian Hollar Jr., Olivia Hollar and Matthew Hollar.
A graveside service will be held at 11a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Greenlawn Memorial Park
