SUPPLY — Jeanette Smith Galloway, 81, died Sunday, March 1, 2020. Born June 6, 1938, in New Hanover County, she was a daughter of the late George Smith and Victoria Hewett Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richmond Galloway; grandson, Garrett Galloway; and brothers, Sam, Dewey, Hoover and Wendell Smith.
She retired from Pfizer Corporation as an administrative assistant.
Surviving are her sons, Joseph “Joey” Galloway (Kim) of Supply and Vinton “Vinny” Galloway (Greta) of Calabash; sister, Dean Mason (Jerry) of Supply; grandchildren, Kasey McGougan (Zack), Taylor Thompson (Derrick) and Ashley Galloway; great-grandchildren, Jax, Zeb and Haley McGougan and Declan Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, at Supply Baptist Church, where she was a longtime member. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 4, at the church officiated by the Rev. Billy Rave. Burial will follow in Concord UMC Cemetery.
