
WILMINGTON — U.S. Army Specialist Antonio Isaac Devante’ Moore, 22, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, while serving his country in Syria.
Antonio was born May 4, 1997, in Brooklyn, New York, to William Bernard and Crystal Eunice Felder Verreen. He was a 2016 graduate of Hoggard High. While in high school, he served as a fire explorer with the Wilmington Fire Department and was employed at J. Michael’s Philly Deli as well as Katy’s Bar and Grill as a chef before joining the military.
In addition to his parents are brothers, Shawn O. Dunbar, Malik N. Moore and Caliel M. Verreen; sister, Shaneene E. Angus; paternal grandmother, Cathy Rollinson Claude; and maternal grandparents, Brenda and Lionel Felder.
The family will see friends from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 2711 Princess Place Drive, Wilmington. Burial will follow, with full Military Honors, at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
