LELAND — Minister Martha S. Young, 91, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Gloria McNair, Larry Young (Ella) and Martha A. Young, all of Leland, and John H. Young of Paterson, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A celebration of Minister Young’s life will be conducted at noon, Friday, Oct. 11, at Holy Covenant United Holy Church, 237 Snowfield Road SE, Leland. Interment will follow in Hall Family Cemetery.
