WILMINGTON — George W. Kieft, 80, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, after a long illness. He was born in Middletown, Connecticut, to the late George and Melva Kieft. He graduated from Hartford School of Accounting and worked at the New York Stock Exchange.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary (Sullivan); along with three children, Linda (husband, John), David and Mark (wife, Amy); and three granddaughters, Dana, Molly and Paige, who brought him much joy.
He loved UConn women’s basketball and gardening.
Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, with memorial services at 11 a.m. at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington.
